The brand is based on an ethical & sustainable business model and aims to empower communities by celebrating local cultures, teaching technical skills and creating employment opportunities. Adèle Dejak cut her teeth in the world of typographic design in England and Italy before moving to Nairobi, Kenya in 2005 and turning her attention to accessories design. She was captivated by the natural beauty of horn and began experimenting with it, using different techniques to create chic, original pieces.

An admirer recognized Adèle’s eye and skill and encouraged her to set up shop. Her Nigerian roots merged easily with her European influences and over the years, she has produced several celebrated collections that reflect that same harmonious balance of east and west, masculine and feminine as well as classic and modern. She is a champion of individual style and a believer in the transformative power of adornment.

In the past, Adele has collaborated with Samsung and Salvatore Ferragamo and been involved with Vogue Talents Milan. Adèle Dejak’s team is passionate, devoted and meticulous. From the creative designer to the beaders, tailors and artisans, we put thought and care into every process, product and detail to create beautiful, different and timeless pieces.

At it’s inception under the Magik Grace Art and Design Ltd banner, the Adèle Dejak brand employed only a few part-time beaders but now employs a team of more than 25 incredibly talented people. We are thrilled to be part of a style renaissance rooted in African tradition and that will revolutionize the experience of African fashion.
