It’s impossible to try to guess what Lil Nas X will wear on any given day, and that is precisely why witnessing his style is such a treat. Whether he’s delivering extravagant red-carpet theatrics or trolling the world on Twitter, the Grammy-winning artist never misses a chance to perform. Doja Cat's Fashion Week costume used 30,000 Swarovski crystals, creating a "magical, mesmerizing masterpiece."
makeup expert For Doja Cat's presentation at the Schiaparelli Haute Couture show in Paris, Pat McGrath and her colleagues manually placed the crystals for close to five hours.
This past weekend, Doja Cat was the icing on the cake of Paris Fashion Week.
In a crimson crystal-studded ensemble, the "Need to Know" singer arrived at the Schiaparelli Haute Couture fashion presentation.
On the opening day of Couture Week, Doja made a dramatic arrival decked out in trompe l'oeil toe boots, a crimson silk faille bustier, 30,000 hand-placed Swarovski crystals, and a hand-knit skirt made of lacquered wooden beads.
Celebrity makeup artist Pat McGrath and her crew of experts brought "Doja's Inferno" to life.
According to McGrath's Instagram post, they manually applied each crystal to Doja's skin for "4 hours and 58 minutes." The singer and style icon had her skin painted, her skin covered in caps, and then her body was covered in crystals and gold dust.
