Joanna Kinuthia is a Kenyan makeup vlogger on YouTube and beauty blogger with 80,000 plus subscriber on Youtube and 64,000 plus on Instagram Joanna quit her job after two weeks in 2017 to focus fulltime on content creation.

Ms Kinuthia features beauty and lifestyle hacks especially regarding finances and personal development. She also owns her own cosmetics company Joanna K Cosmetics.

My passion started in highschool when I would apply makeup for my friends. When I finished highschool and I was waiting to join university, I decided to venture into the makeup business and see how it goes.It’s unfortunate that taking time to do your makeup has been labelled by some people as being vain or we are labelled ‘slay queens’. Currently, many more people are getting in to makeup. We are now appreciating that there’s more to makeup than just applying it. The feeling that comes with that is more important.
