About NFW
Nairobi Fashion Week is a project with a mission to help fashion designers convert their talent into enterprises that can sustain them, and grow into big businesses by giving them much needed visibility.
Four seasons of catwalks have given Nairobi Fashion Week a reputation and track record of excellence. We have showcased over 100 emerging and established African-influenced fashion designers, in four annual events, to an estimated crowd of over 15,000 guests and VIPs, in 12 catwalk shows.
Traditional fashion runways in the world are too expensive for majority of most of who are undiscovered, to showcase on. Fashion shows of world class standards are very expensive to organize. NFW was created to bridge the gap by creating highly affordable showcase opportunities funded by sponsorships, in order to provide visibility for these designers.
NFW thus creates a powerful synergistic system that provides showcase for designers and mileage for sponsoring, exhibiting and partnering brands. The event is organized by Dynamic Race, an event and Public Relations Fashion Agency.
