Band Beca is a music girl group comprising , made up of Becky Sangolo and Carol Kamweru came to the limelight in 2016 with their single “Toka”. With other singles like “Brathe” and “Tonight”, the duo is enjoying time in the spotlight,The pair were named in MTV’s list for African stars to watch in 2017
The careers of The Band BeCa’s members kick started soon after they completed high school in 2015. Each of them asked their parents to pay for a vocal training course at Penya Africa’s Sauti Academy – a music school and talent incubation Centre based in Nairobi. By 2016, the duo had released their first single Toka, followed by Brathe in December 2016. They would later release three versions of Brathe and by February 2017, dropped a collaboration titled Tonight.
