As a frequent attendee of high-profile events, she seamlessly transitions from red carpets to award ceremonies, consistently making bold and stylish statements. At this year’s Paris Fashion Week, she did not disappoint, donning a meticulously curated ensemble that reflected both her personal aesthetic and a nod to Africa’s growing influence in the luxury fashion industry.

Showcasing African Luxury at a Global Platform

Dejak, a champion of sustainable and ethically sourced materials, has positioned her brand as a leading name in African luxury fashion. Her participation in events such as Luxury Connect Africa in Paris serves as a testament to the continent’s evolving presence in high fashion.

In an interview with TikTok’s The People Gallery, Ogulu provided a detailed breakdown of her striking outfit:

“I’m wearing Issey Miyake top to bottom, Schiaparelli boots, a bracelet by Kenyan jewelry designer Adele Dejak, Schiaparelli earrings, a Rolex watch, and a Schiaparelli handbag.”

Her ensemble not only exuded elegance but also placed a spotlight on African craftsmanship, reinforcing the importance of representation in the global luxury market.

Adele Dejak’s Vision for African Luxury

“It’s an honor to see my pieces being worn by such an influential figure at an event as significant as Paris Fashion Week,” Dejak remarked. “This moment is a testament to the power and reach of African creativity and craftsmanship.”

Founded in 2008 in Nairobi, Kenya, Adele Dejak’s brand has become synonymous with edgy sophistication, style, and quality. Using reclaimed and recycled materials sourced from across the African continent, her pieces celebrate African heritage and design innovation. Born in Kano, Nigeria, Dejak has always been passionate about African culture, and her brand reflects this deep-rooted love for the continent’s artistic traditions.

A Statement Beyond Fashion

Beyond her fashion choices, Bose Ogulu also shared an insightful perspective on style and relationships. She emphasized that true elegance is not dictated by price tags but by individuality and confidence.

“Carrying Birkins is not being stylish,” she stated. “A partner with style might be a headache. I would rather give my partner styling tips to suit his disposition. Funds are not bad, as long as that is not the only thing going on for him.”

This statement resonated with many, reinforcing the idea that luxury and style should be about authenticity rather than mere labels.

Her presence commands attention, and her choice of jewelry reflects her bold yet sophisticated style. Notably, she has been seen wearing the Adele Dejak Morowa bracelet, a piece that embodies strength and elegance.

These areas have become synonymous with opulence, offering a range of luxury shopping experiences that include global icons like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Rolex, and Chanel.

Global Luxury Brands in South Africa

Over the years, global luxury brands have recognized the vast potential in the South African market.
